6-Story Building
The 6-story building in Thessaloniki features moveable wooden slats on the facade, designed to provide dynamic shading and reduce direct sunlight exposure. This innovative system not only enhances comfort but also contributes to the building's energy efficiency.
The slats are crafted from LDCwood® ThermoWood® Ayous, chosen for its excellent durability and light construction, making it ideal for withstanding weather conditions. No additional coatings are applied to the wood, allowing it to naturally age and develop a silver-grey patina over time when exposed to sunlight, creating a timeless aesthetic.
